Pasar Payang

Pasar Payang

Located just a few minutes’ walk north along the pier from the inter-city bus station and located just by the Terengganu River. This Pasar Payang offers visitors a variety of items to purchase such as fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, “keropok lekor”, traditional products and souvenirs like batik, brocade, songket and jersey for the youth generation.

China Town - ICT Terengganu

Situated near the heart of Kuala Terengganu city centre. There are sundry shop, local coffee shops, souvenir shops, temple, restaurant and etcetera at this Chinatown. Besides that, there is also ICT Terengganu which will be the attraction of visitors during night time.

Islamic Heritage Park / Crystal Mosque

The Crystal Mosque is a mosque in Kuala Terengganu, which has grand structure made of steel, glass and crystal. The mosque is located at Islamic Heritage Park on the island of Wan Man. This is one of the most beautiful mosques in the world.

Pulau Duyong

Pulau Duyong – Monsoon Cup

Pulau Duyong which is only a few hectares big sits between The Sultan Mahmud Bridge and Terengganu River’s river mouth. Beside of the traditional boat and yachts making industy, Pulau Duyong is also famous for its salted fish cracker industry. On the other hand, another attraction

of this Pulau Duyong is the International Sailing Championship, the Monsoon Cup which will be held end of the year.

Kg. Ibok Firefly Sanctuary

This firefly sanctuary is situated at Kampung Ibok, Chukai town, Kemaman district. The right time to go here for firefly appreciation activities is from July to September which is the mating season for the firefly. We can see thousands of fireflies crowded the area with glitter like neon light throughout the Yak Yah River.
